This fellowship provides funding to scholars and practitioners from Asia to conduct research and collaborate with members of the ILR community. The aim is to enhance dialogue and exchanges between labor scholars and activists in Asia and the United States. Candidates must have an established track record conducting research.

Possible areas of research include:

  • Trade and labor issues
  • Climate change and its impact on workers
  • Migrant labor
  • Labor movements and other forms of collective action
  • Comparative labor law
  • Technology and the workplace
  • Collective bargaining and employment relations

Recipients will receive support for travel as well as a living stipend while in the US.
