Alex Nading is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology and the Editor of the journal Medical Anthropology Quarterly. His research examines the interface of medicine, public health, and environmental change in Latin America. Nading’s current book project results from a multi-year study of environmental health activism, toxic exposure, and climate crisis on Nicaraguan sugarcane plantations.
