Research and popular press stories have pointed to a wide array of stressors that are creating increased mental health and well-being challenges for employees. Prior CAHRS working groups have suggested that companies are paying greater attention to employee mental health and well-being as part of a broader benefits strategy related to employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
In this webcast, moderated by Chris Collins, Professor, HRS and Director of Graduate Studies, CAHRS research assistants Janani Ramesh and Jillian Rogers will share the results of their semester-long research project to understand the current state of workplace mental health and well-being. The research will identify innovative approaches for managing employee mental health and implementation challenges in transitioning from a reactive to a proactive well-being benefits model. Topics covered include key insights from more than 20 CAHRS partner companies on revamping employee assistance programs, destigmatizing mental health, and leveraging data to improve outcomes.
Attendees will have an opportunity to submit questions and comments during the webcast.
