CAHRS Advisory Board Additions
CAHRS welcomes Jennifer Christie, Docusign Chief People Officer; JR Keller, ILR HR Studies Associate Professor; and Ernest Marshall, Eaton Executive Vice President and CHRO, to its Advisory Board.
Jennifer oversees the HR function at Docusign and plays an active role in the product and go-to market strategy for its HR vertical alignment across various levels of management, creating unified direction for the company.
Prior to joining Docusign in 2022, Jennifer held Chief HR Officer positions at Bolt and Twitter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master’s degree from The George Washington University.
Ernest‘s experience includes a demonstrated history of working in the healthcare, financial services, aviation and power management industry. He is skilled in talent assessment and development; executive compensation; organizational design; culture, labor relations; performance development; and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Juris Doctor and Master’s in Business Administration focused in Commercial and Employment Law from Indiana University Bloomington.
“Jennifer and Ernest are highly respected HR leaders who have each held senior roles in multiple firms cutting across different industries,” says CAHRS Academic Director and William J. Conaty Professor of Strategic Human Resources Brad Bell. “Their extensive and diverse HR experience will be a tremendous asset to the CAHRS Advisory Board as we continue to explore the role of HR in shaping the future of work and organizations.”
JR’s expertise at the ILR School lies in the areas of talent management strategy and HR practices. JR has worked with dozens of organizations to develop future HR leaders and improve their candidate and employee experiences. His research and teaching are motivated by a desire to help organizations make better hiring decisions; rethink employee career development; design effective promotion and succession planning practices; apply recent developments in HR analytics; and explore evidence-based strategies to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD in Management from The Wharton School.
Bell says “we are very excited to have JR join the CAHRS Advisory Board. JR is a globally recognized talent management expert, with a focus on talent acquisition and talent mobility. Much of his research has been carried out in the field in partnership with multinational organizations, so he fits perfectly with the CAHRS mission of bridging the science and practice of HR.”
