Introducing CAHRS Spring Research Assistants
CAHRS welcomes Research Assistants (RAs) Xutong Bai (pictured left) and Deepak Ramachandran (pictured right), who will assist CAHRS with human resource projects over the spring semester.
Xutong has five years of work experience spanning centers of excellence and business partner roles, and she has developed a strong passion for organizational design, business strategy and HR analytics/technological advancements. She hopes to explore valuable and actionable insights that will benefit CAHRS members as they navigate challenges of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) business dynamics.
Deepak is a software engineer turned human resources professional. He has more than four years of software development and four years of HR Business Partnering experience, with interests in HR analytics; compensation; and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). He believes in a philosophy of creating a conducive and inclusive atmosphere for employees to reach their potential organically, enhancing the organization’s bottom line.
In welcoming the new RAs, CAHRS Academic Director and William J. Conaty Professor of Strategic Human Resources says “we look forward to welcoming Xutong and Deepak as CAHRS Research Assistants in the spring. They will be instrumental in supporting the current CAHRS playbook project focused on the evolving role of the HR business partner, and will be able to add unique value through their extensive work and academic experiences.”
Most recently, fall semester CAHRS RAs Ashley Hamilton and Ryan Odibo focused on the HRBP role in “A Part of the Whole: Business Partnering in the Modern Workplace”
