Roundtable Discussion on Emerging Trends in Work, Labor, and Employment

On November 29, 2022, Cornell ILR, hosted a roundtable discussion on emerging trends in work, labor, and employment at the New York City Conference Center. The roundtable discussion featured Cornell ILR experts in a conversation about research, data, training, and policy expertise to  improve the livelihood of communities and individuals across New York State. CJEI presented the benefits of alternative models, tools, and cultural competencies for assessing candidates with criminal records in order to develop more diverse talent pools and address the current labor shortage.
