Schroders and GLI publish stewardship framework on climate risk resilience and adaptation: 'Engaging with companies on Just Resilience: An Investor Toolkit'

From Schroders and Cornell University’s GLI comes the first ever climate adaptation guidance for investor engagement with firms titled “Engaging with companies on Just Resilience: An Investor Toolkit”. From the Pensions Age article about the toolkit: "Schroders has begun applying the toolkit for its engagement with apparel brands and plans to expand its application to other exposed sectors, including food and construction." Schroders' engagement manager including Katie Frame built this using findings from Higher Ground? (co-authored at GLI with Angus Bauer and Stephanie Williams). We can draw a straight line from GLI and Schroders' work on this and apparel firms writing and enacting standards in 2024 and 2025 for extreme heat in global production.
