Worker Institute Fellow Sanjay Pinto Authors Report on Cooperatives
Sanjay Pinto, a Fellow of The Worker Institute, has authored a new report on how worker ownership could transform the economy. Ours to Share contends that despite challenges and risks, worker ownership is increasingly becoming a viable approach to economic development that creates quality, family-sustaining jobs – and given increased funding from investors and foundations, the sector would thrive.
The report was edited and published by the Surdna Foundation, which seeks to foster sustainable communities in the United States, guided by principles of social justice and distinguished by healthy environments, strong local economies, and thriving cultures. Ours to Share was recently highlighted in articles in Forbes, The Guardian and USA Today.
