Four Win SUNY Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence

Four from ILR have been named winners of State University of New York Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence.

They are:

  • M. Diane Burton, professor of human resources, for faculty service
  • Vanessa Bohns, associate professor of organizational behavior, for scholarship and creative activities
  • Verónica Martínez-Matsuda, associate professor of labor relations, law and history, for teaching
  • Christian Miller, lecturer, research librarian, Martin P. Catherwood Library, for librarianship

ILR’s winners in four categories were among 20 across campus in six categories.

Nomination letters for ILR awardees, all of whom were selected for the honor, were written by Catherwood Library Assistant Director Jim DelRosso for Miller and by Associate Dean of Academic Affairs George Boyer, professor of economics and international and comparative labor, for Martinez-Matsuda, Bohns and Burton.
